One Response

  1. How do we explain the larger-than-life people we occassionally meet in every country, in most institutions, and hidden away in our communities? There always seem to be one or two people who hold the energy of a group together, strategic individuals who move events and history forward.

Unless a man has on some level been involved in the human struggle, it might be hard for him to know what is missing from society. You can only miss something that you have searched for and partially experienced.

Trevor’s ‘On the Edge’ exercise was done partly to inspire a new generation of young people to reassess what it means to be a leader in the broader culture. Leaders are people, not gods, and they need to confront fear, suffering and loss before they can live with genuine wisdom and vision.

    Thank you Trevor, our hero!
